I know, you’re frustrated with politics and you have been for quite some time – understood. I can probably safely say that you may be like me, a registered independent and not claiming party affiliation. You figure that you will vote for the best candidate in the general election. Here lies the issue. We’re not affiliated with a party and therefore we do not have a voice in the primary election and essentially the candidates we vote for the general election are selected for us.
With the climate of politics in our country, we need to provide ourselves with the freedom to decide. Maryland’s primary election is September 14th, 2010. The general election is 35 days later. I am tired of our country and state of Maryland spending ourselves further and further in debt. It is time to register to vote and claim party affiliation. You need to provide yourself with the ability and power to choose and support your ideal candidate to the primary election.
You may access Maryland’s voter registration form at: http://www.elections.state.md.us/voter_registration/application.html
We need to take our country back and stop out of control government spending, bailouts, increased taxes and decreased freedoms and liberties. I’m sure you too are tired of being stuck with the bill from our government. Give yourself the voice and power to choose.
Jim Rutledge advocates and stands for our constitutional rights and freedoms. He is a refreshing voice of common sense and will keep this spending in check and in control. You may visit his website at: http://www.rutledgeforussenate.com
Don’t let the counties of Prince George’s, Montgomery, and Baltimore decide what is best for you – Register to vote!
